I wont react to what don't exist. I'm still waiting for the agreement! Meanwhile, some of them become sedevacantist and now don't attend any Sacrament.
Like Sodome and Gomorra, the first punishment was blindmess. We are all "blind" in this Babel of "ideas". So to keep the hierarchy is a good start: Pope, Bishop, Priest, and for last, me, the sheep!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3442957065846835058.post-81565398073335333842020-12-11T08:26:35.175-08:002020-12-11T08:26:35.175-08:00Dear Jerome,
I found this website of yours by chan...Dear Jerome,
I found this website of yours by chance. I was searching about another tradicionalist group and found your videos on YouTube criticising everything and everyone. So I went for the main website. And found this.
I'm still not able to undestrstand some cathilics. Or 8, or 80. You seem to be in that situation.
I'll be sincere: i'm portuguese, atend SSPX Masses (in Portugal, only recently others provide the "old Mass"). But I never understood the position of "judge".
I saw your situation (by assumption) here, in Portugal, too: a "modernist" turn to SSPX, but the acceptance of the Pope becomes a problem so, sedevacantism is the logical conclusion. Then, since you don't recognize any authority (you are your own "Pope") you become lost, more "judging" and alone. So, you return to "modernism" in order to be socialy accepted and maintain psicological stability.
God bless you!
I converted a decade ago, more or less. I was exposed to some troublesome facts, so I concluded that since Vactican II was pastoral and after learning about the "new Mass"... the portuguese translation is offensive to the inttelect. So I start to go to the SSPX Masses (they had the exclusive in Portugal at that time) and I accepted. After atending there some sectariam faithfulls start to bombard me with "politics" in the Church; I listen but, ok. What can I do? Nothing? To pray!? So what is the interest in that information? If I have my ordinary sins why must I be judging the sins of other, worse other that are far away from me, or are superior to me. If I can't convert a neighbour, why should I worry in converting "Rome"?
The problem with catholics is PRIDE. The lack of the sense of ones position in life and the perception of priorities.
My position is very simple: as a catholic, I must follow the Pope, is a distinctive ellement of the catholic; but the Vactican II arrises some questions, but, fortunatly is pastoral so, not mandatory; but my priest, or bishop imposes something that you deem in your conscience (this is essencvial for the situatuation of "State of necessity") is not very catholic so you search for a congregation, a religious order, that atend your doubts but in the hierarchy. For me the SSPX was perfect: a priest, a bishop, the Pope and the rejection of the Council. For me, as a cheep, a layman is perfect. But you say, the bishpos excomunication, very well, accepting it, this punishmet was never extended to the faithful; but the suspension of the priests? Yes is a problem, that is why you must be, sincerly in a situation of "state of necessity", if you go to the Society because the Mass is beautiful, you shouldn't go, at least if you have an alternative.
This ambiguous situation is a punishment, is better not to think too much. Try to convert oneself, the familly and friends, then neighbors, to fight ones own sins and help the close ones to fight theirs, and leave "church politics", and theology to the shepards. I'm only a sheep.
Good luck to you, and may God help you in every endevour. Sorry for the bad english but I wrote from the heart, as an impulse and my writen english could be better.
I know I'm not an example, but: know the facts, but don't take rush positions, wait. God knows all, we don't so... ("God forgive me!", but...) Don't worry, be happy! with the certainty that God loves you ethernaly and try to love Him back, as much as you can.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
